Supporting Bershka development
We are supporting Bershka´s image and department as technical partners for the development and execution of its new vision to be implemented in their stores around the world. A team of architects and designers specialised in BIM methodology are in charge of the prototyping, parameterization, production and supervision of every millimetre of the furniture and space designed to guarantee the effective delivery of the business model of this leading brand part of Inditex Group.
➀ FROM THE MICRO TO THE MACRO
An homogeneous worldwide implementation implies a meticulous development and control of the entire value chain. It is a technological, productive and logistical coordination involving from the millimetre design of each piece and its visualisation within the space through 3D modelling, to quality control, prototyping, production and implementation. A constant review and continuous improvement exercise to ensure an effective shopping experience behind each Bershka store.
➁ A TAILORED WORK MODEL
After the creative proposal, each project begins with the technical assessment of all the elements to be produced according to the particularities of each space. This initial stage involves a simultaneous work of different teams incorporating all the costs, materials and pieces´s information needed through BIM. This parameterization process allows the 3D visualisation of the furniture within the space, while defining the planimetry of the future store and preventing possible errors affecting the process.
➂ PROTOTYPING AND PRODUCTION
Once the design is approved, the meticulous production process of all the pieces and elements involves a constant control of the different furniture suppliers and the management with the contractors developing each physical store.
➃ THE BOOK OF BERSHKA
In parallel, each furniture developed is included in a global brand book detailing all the information of every piece and its future adaptations according to the sizes, characteristics and t regulations of each store and country.
➄ AN EXERCISE IN CONTINIOUS IMPROVEMENT
Our daily work for Bershka involves the simultaneous development of 5 to 10 stores at a time, as part of a planned technical support to more than 300 stores in total; both nationally and internationally, as well as the original creative design of some of its new upcoming implementations.
